Room with a View - Kabul

Well, I arrived yesterday in Kabul and after a night of intermittent sleep, I got up to shoot a panorama of dawn our of my hotel room.  Definitely a different view of Kabul than I remember!  Not a bad first attempt, which was done completely handheld, as I didn't have room to pack my tripod.  I must remember next time to shoot it vertical though to maximise the eventual height of the panorama.  Practice makes perfect!

All is safe and sound, despite the reporting in the media, and I am starting onto the elections project.  I will try to keep up a regular update here...Thanks everyone for your well-wishes.
